Cass Zumwalt
D.A.R.K's most fashionable phantom hunter, going on hunts in stilettos with glocks...bringing some style into phantom hunting...but on a serious note, fighting the endless battle of trying to advance the paranormal field. Who said you can't look good doing what you love? I like to call myself the "resident evil" of demon hunting, LOL (oh, and the glocks aren't for the entities of course, I just never leave them at home).
I have a career as a Canadian Booking Agent/Model/Actress/Feature Entertainer. I started modelling in high school and one opportunity lead to another. Along with that, I started off a competitive equestrian and weapon career but as a hobby. When I "grew up" I wanted to work for CSIS (and be a model) but instead I ended up being a demon hunter (and a model), which I guess is close enough! I did originally pursue the CSIS dream for a internship or any position they had. Unfortunately, you cannot even get a gopher job there until you have a University degree and I was only in my first year at that time. I was asked to come back and apply as soon as I finished my degree but by that time I was busy with my modelling and other endeavors. As well, after spending so much time sitting in a chair getting hair and make-up done, I decided to get certified in advanced cosmetology and I do make-up for photo shoots if I have any spare time. I am fascinated by so many different things that I have studied a lot of random and strange subjects over the years. I studied Witchcraft and the Occult in University as well as Religion, Anthropology and Earth Sciences for example and I actually took an introduction to Latin too. I did not however, pick the paranormal field it more so seemed to pick me. I had dealt with the paranormal on my own for 15 years and it was not my choice. My paranormal experiences, especially with the darker side of it, lead me to Chad and through all his experience and research he helped me deal with and learn more about mine. Looking back now, it is quite coincidental some of the subjects I have studied. I had not originally intended to pursue this field seriously until working with Chad. I supported him in his paranormal endeavors and therefore spent a lot of time listening to other paranormal investigators. Through this I soon came to realize many do not have the actual encounters or experiences they claim to. (If you have experienced the paranormal especially often unwilling it is easy to recognize fact from fiction and combining that with field work and other research is what led me to these conclusions). I actually couldn't believe some of the ridiculous "facts" some think or try to convince others is real. I was shocked at the amount of inappropriate or wrong advice that is actually given out to other people by "paranormal investigators or experts". This is wrong and can often make a bad situation worse for the person dealing with it. I would think, "that's statement is not accurate, or that person is misinformed". That is what led me to change my mind and want to help the paranormal field and particularly the people who are truly dealing with these phenomenas which can be absolutely terrifying. Demons are a reality but if you have never experienced them I really do not know why you would ever want to. But through my experiences came a calling to hunt demons, possibly get some payback, but mostly being able to provide some help for others who have had to go through similar or worse experiences and help educate those whom have not. Now it has turned into a passion, a lifelong mission. I couldn't stop if I tried. For some reason I seem to just generally piss off demons (second of course to Chad who is notorious for it LOL), which has been great for photos, audio evps and videos for me. We do take this seriously and we specialize in extreme hauntings and demonic entities...there is no place we won't go or stay!
